Largest Annual Indoor Summer Fest, ‘Pinoy Fiesta …’ Unfolds Anew in T.O., June 16, 2018

Everyone is excited to see one’s favorite Kapuso Stars at the “Pinoy Fiesta & Trade Show sa Toronto” as this largest annual indoor summer festival 2018 edition unfolds at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Hall A, 255 Front Street W in lower downtown, Toronto, Saturday, June 16.

… and on the weekend of Saturday, May 19, 2018, the various committees of the Philippine Canadian Charitable Foundation (PCCF) — the organizing group of the much-awaited summer event, appear on Front Page Philippines TV to share more interesting information on what the public expects to see this year.

Rosemer Enverga, Executive Vice President of the PCCF, said that City Executives, led by Toronto Mayor John Tory, will be at the fiesta to celebrate Filipino Heritage Month. Rosemer is the widow of Filipino Canadian Senator Tobias Enverga, Jr. — who shortly, before his death, made representation with all levels of government in Canada for the declaration of June as Filipino Heritage Month.

This is the first year that June is celebrated officially as Filipino Heritage Month in Toronto as passed by the City Council in November 2017 from a motion brought forward by Councillor Neethan Shan.
